Professional Background
Since 2012 Giles has worked internationally abroad in the hospitality and tourism industry. He started his career in the super yacht industry and served in this industry for 5 years. During this period, he had the privilege of working all around the globe at prestigious events such as the Monaco & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and the Cannes Film Festival. Working for UHNWI in the world meant that professional seven star service was always expected.
Giles realised that he had found his passion in hospitality and went on to purchasing and running his own boutique guesthouse in Cape Town, South Africa. Bergzicht Guesthouse sleeps 24 guests and he operated a successful business, managed a dynamic staff team, obtained high occupancy rates and partnered with multiple companies in the tourism industry and scheduled guest trips. During this time in South Africa, he also managed multiple Airbnb’s and private house rentals, offering all services from bookings, guest check in and check outs, logistics and cleaning services.
With all this experience and now living in Ericeira, Portugal since 2020, he actively works in Real Estate and is the founder of Homes To Holiday (property management company). Combined with his diverse hospitality background, Giles and his team at Homes To Holiday offers and provides a high end quality property management service to meet your personal property goals and expectations.
